Paul Byrd Falsely Accused by Unscruplous Reporter
Paul Byrd has been accused by the press of taking Human growth hormones. Even though he did not owe it to anyone he replied to these unscrupulous people on Sunday prior to game 7 of the American League Championship. He said we was being treated for a tumor on his pituitary gland, and that he took the drug under a medical supervision. He did absolutely nothing illegal. The true tragedy is the timing of this story. He will be in the bullpen tonight and doesn’t want anything to distract his team.
he was quoted as saying, “I have not taken any hormone apart from a legitimate doctor’s care and supervision. My team, my coaches and MLB have known that I have had a pituitary gland issue for some time and have assisted me in getting blood tests in different states. I recently found out from an MRI that I have a tumor on my pituitary gland. I am currently working with an endocrinologist and will have another MRI on my head after the season to make sure that the tumor hasn’t grown.”
I personally want to wish all the best and may the Good Lord be with him. And would also like to say shame on this reported who is willing to say anything for a story.
Good Luck Paul Byrd

Are you serious?!? I’m sorry that I stumbled across this blog. Facts are facts, bro. He spent $25G on this stuff. If he did nothing wrong, why is he not still taking Hgh? Especially if he only took it on doctor’s orders!! 2 Rx’s of which were written by a freaking dentist!?! My dad’s a dentist and I guarantee he has no clue what exactly Hgh is, what it’s indications are, what are the dosing regimens, let alone any side effects. I’m being dead serious — why did he not request a medical waiver from the league if this was all on the up-and-up?? How come his GM, Shapiro, did not know of any of this until Friday?? He’s being so “open” about doing nothing wrong only because the SF Chronicle called him asking him for comment. But, somehow, the media is wrong in this episode?!?!??? Put the pipe down, sir, and READ THE FACTS!
I hope this has no bearing on the rest of the Indians this evening. I love the way these guys play, I like Wedgie as a Mgr — they are just in need of a successful Heimlich maneuver to polish off the Sox.
After all this baseball is over, I like to see some honest answers out of such a “good Christian”. Wonder if he’ll have time to make some edits on his upcoming book? I know the publisher will make one change for him — it will now be listed as fiction!

Yes I am serious !!!!!! I am sorry that you stumbled across this blog also. Your right facts are facts and I am not your bro. He spent $25,000 because he has a tumor and he is trying to stay alive. And he did take it on Doctors orders.
It’s people like you who spread rumors with out knowledge. I guess you seem to have all the facts.
You seem to be the kind our press loves to play too.
Maybe you should have followed in your dads footsteps
How can I read the facts when people like you are controlling the weirdo’s who are supposedly writing the so called facts.
Maybe while you Indians are at home after tonight you can find more lies to read and believe.

You tell him Coach.
Gezz Riley I bet you never even played baseball. And if you did you mom probably was always fussing at the coach because you didn’t get to play as much as the other guys.

This media fueled BS has gone far enough. Good thing Spring Training is here!
