MLB Playoffs
The Colorado Rockies have gotten into the playoffs the hard way. They now won 21 of 22 games. They won the tiebreaker with the San Diego Padres. The Denver fans are not talking about their Denver Broncos either. They’re constantly asking about a Rockies team that hasn’t won that many games in a 20 game span in their franchise which dates back to the middle 1990’s. They are doing all of the small things right. They are getting timely hitting. I have never seen that kind of streak in my years of viewing baseball. Look around. All you see and hear is the talk of the Colorado Rockies’ miraculous season-ending streak that got them in the playoffs. They have only lost one game since September 15. Denver, CO was once just a football city. Since the Broncos are falling downhill fast, I guess the city of Denver needs some other team to root for. Their fans add to the Rockies wins. They are loud. All you can see is Colorado Rockies jerseys and pompoms. Some people bought a watch that showed off their wildcard team. Many have bought extra merchandise online. Some people bought Rockies souvenirs for their loved ones.
